By adding Lunaris to a server, using the dashboard, or completing verification through it, you agree to these terms. They are written to be readable: the short version is: use it fairly, don’t abuse it, and understand it’s provided free of charge, with no payment taken at any point.
01The service
Lunaris is a Discord bot and companion web dashboard offering moderation, anti-nuke protection, server backups, member verification, music, leveling, tickets, voice support and related features. We may add, change or remove features over time.
Lunaris is operated by a private individual, described in full in the imprint. It is not a company, and no legal entity stands behind it.
02Acceptable use
You agree not to use Lunaris to violate Discord’s Terms of Service or Community Guidelines, to harass or harm others, to evade Discord moderation, or to attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer or gain unauthorized access to the service or its API.
You are responsible for how the bot is configured and used within servers you manage, including moderation actions, verification blacklist entries (kicks/bans), and backup restores taken through it.
03Verification
Servers may enable a verification module that requires new members to authorize through Discord OAuth before gaining access. Server owners and admins configure who is blocked (specific users or members of blacklisted servers) and whether a match results in a kick or a ban. You are responsible for the blacklist entries you configure; we do not curate or endorse them.
04Backups and restores
Premium servers may create manual or automatic backups of their channels, roles, permissions and recent message history. Restoring a backup deletes the server’s current channels and roles and replaces them with the snapshot: this is destructive and cannot be undone. You are solely responsible for confirming a restore is what you intend before running it.
05Availability
Lunaris is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. We aim for high uptime and publish live status at lnrs.dev/status, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
06Premium features
Some features (including server backups) are marked premium. Premium is not for sale and cannot be bought. It is granted to servers as a thank-you for boosting our Discord server, and may also be granted at our discretion. No money is charged, collected or accepted by us at any point.
Because nothing is purchased, premium carries no guarantee of continued availability: a granted benefit may end when the boost that earned it ends, and we may change which features are premium or how they are granted. Free features remain available regardless.
07Intellectual property
The Lunaris name, wordmark, logo and the source code, design and content of the bot and dashboard are ours and are protected by German copyright law. Using the bot in your server does not transfer any ownership or license beyond what is needed to use the service as intended.
You may not copy, redistribute, sublicense, reverse-engineer for competitive purposes, or use the Lunaris name or branding to imply that a bot, server or service of yours is published, endorsed or operated by us, when it is not.
If you believe material we publish infringes your copyright, send a notice identifying the work and where it appears to [email protected]. It will be reviewed and removed where the claim is valid.
08Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lunaris and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for data loss, including channels, roles or messages lost through a backup restore, a moderation action, or any other action you or your server’s staff initiate: arising from your use of or inability to use the service.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. In particular, liability for injury to life, body or health, liability for intent and gross negligence, and liability under the German Product Liability Act remain unaffected. Where we breach a material contractual obligation through slight negligence, liability is limited to the foreseeable damage typical of an agreement of this kind.
09Indemnification
You agree to hold us harmless from claims, damages or costs, including reasonable legal fees: arising from your own violation of these terms or your misuse of the service, to the extent permitted by law. This does not apply to claims arising from our own intent or gross negligence.
10Termination and blacklisting
You may stop using Lunaris at any time by removing it from your servers.
We may suspend, restrict, or permanently blacklist a specific user, server, or both, where we determine that these terms have been breached, the service is being abused, or other users or servers are being endangered. A blacklist entry can be based on conduct that took place outside the affected server, since its purpose is to keep the same abuse from following someone into a different one.
Where practical we will explain why action was taken if asked, at [email protected], but we are not obliged to give advance notice before suspending or blacklisting access: doing so could itself let ongoing abuse continue in the meantime.
11Governing law
German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer resident in the EU, this does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence.
We are neither obliged nor willing to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
12Severability
If any provision of these terms is or becomes invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions is unaffected.
13Changes
We may revise these terms as the service evolves. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be announced in the support server.
